As a temporary employee working for Siemens Zürich (Business Innovation Center) it was my task to create new Graphical User Interface variations for the high definition Set-Top-Box and to implement a chosen concept that was further developed. The familiarization in the topics Home Entertainment, the Set-Top-Box (STB) and the analysis of the given user interfaces (GUI) were all components of this project. The challenge in this project was, within a short time-span, to understand the structure of the application on a complex level and then with the limited possibilities of the GUI Creator Tools (from Myrio) to develop, and then implement (on the STB) a user interface that could be showcased at the CeBit 2006.
As a follow-up project I also designed and implemented the GUI for clients of Siemens.

A further project for Siemens Business Innovation Center was to analyze the sister product (IPTV GUI) and develop three Graphical User Interface prototypes for future generations. This was carried out independently from the current design limitations of the Set-Top-Box (STB). The future prototypes consisted of suggested improvements and new functions for the optimized usability of the STB.
